Justin & Kynada Boland

The Bolands story is unique in that they met and married in the context of the Haiti earthquake in 2010. They both served in the capacity of On the Ground Director for different relief organizations operating in Port au Prince. Justin and Kynada have seen crisis reveal the need for encounter with God and are passionate about equipping people to respond from that place.

Kynada has a rich teaching history in the urban classroom and in the wilderness. She spent four years with Crisis Response International as Director of Training and is visionary and author of Preparedness Peace, she is excited about establishing families in a foundation of preparedness.

Justin is the creative visionary, problem solving, graphic designer behind Preparedness Peace curriculum and by profession. He is passionate about the Church and the opportunity to come together in crisis, share the love of Jesus, and minister His heart and words to those who are hurting.

Justin, Kynada and their three children call Jerusalem, Israel their home. 

Scott & Kelly MacTiernan

The MacTiernans spent 30 years owning and operating  a Dude and Guest Ranch in the southwest mountains of Colorado. Scott was also a ski instructor, EMT, and hunting guide and outfitter during much of that time. Their skills and experience have equipped them in a lifestyle of preparedness.

Their involvement and training from ministries that respond to crisis both nationally and internationally has also equipped them. Their love for survival skills and the prudence of preparedness has developed into a training that they are passionate about sharing. They love teaching, leading others and seeing individuals and families become more equipped to endure possible crisis.  

They joyfully reside near Kansas City near their grown children and grandchildren.
