I have found in the many disaster relief efforts we have been involved in across this nation and
around the globe, that one of the most effective and practical tools to equip individual families is
Preparedness Peace. We are asking all our chapters, partner organizations and volunteers to
go through it. Personally, I believe Preparedness Peace is a valuable tool, largely because the
creators of the training are not just theorists, but practitioners. They have been personally
involved in disaster relief efforts across the Gulf, Texas hurricanes and fires, Midwest tornadoes,
as well as Haiti and Japan earthquakes. Preparedness Peace has been well thought out and
lived out. I believe Preparedness Peace is one of the best, most simplified resources we have
for getting people ready.
