September is a good time to focus on preparedness

Set aside this month to focus on your preparedness!
Here are 3 tasks to get you started!

1. Preparedness Check-up – Inventory your Preparedness Kits, Food Storage, Gear, and Supplies to make sure that food and medications have not expired, articles of clothing still fit and are appropriate for the season, update special needs (baby items, eye glasses, medical supplies, pet provisions) and verify documentation, photos and family plans are up-to-date.

2. Store Water – Make a concerted effort this month to increase your water storage. This is the easiest and most overlooked area of preparedness. CLick here to see step by step strategies for storing water. Start the Water Walk today!

3. Create a Grab and Go Bag or Home Emergency Supply Kit – Use the lists provided here. (Please note, these lists are meant to be helpful suggestions. Only include in your kit the items that are necessary for you!) If you already have a Grab and Go Bag, consider making one for someone else! What an incredible gift to give!

what our customer's have to say

"Preparedness Peace is clearly designed to address the fears participants might have. It very carefully guides each member of the class through the process of working on their spiritual and emotional health before they get into the process of becoming physically prepared for disasters. In each of our three classes, many have come to the first class absolutely terrified about their perception of the future as "the sky is falling." By the end of the third or fourth week, they are relaxed and enthusiastically participating in not only working on their own preparedness, but are enthusiastic about helping others."
Laurie
"Your program came at a perfect time. You guys have nailed it information wise. For the last three years the Church and preparedness has been heavy on my heart. I feel we have a short window of time to get people in our churches ready for the harvest that is coming."
Chaplain Steve
"You and I may be prepared ourselves, but what about all the people surrounding us that have no clue? I prayed daily about what I should do to help others be ready. God answers prayer. In this case, the obvious answer was Preparedness Peace. There is no better way for me personally to reach as many people as possible, as soon as possible."
